Introduction

Die Casting Parts Processing is a process that uses high pressure to inject molten metal into a precision mold and quickly cools it to form a shape. It can produce metal parts with precise dimensions, smooth surfaces and complex shapes, and is widely used in the automotive, electronics, aerospace and other industries.

Advantages

1. High precision and complex shapes
In the die-casting process, molten metal is injected into a precision mold at high pressure, so that the material completely fills every tiny part of the mold, ensuring the shape complexity and edge clarity of the product. Due to the high pressure, the mold can accurately replicate details such as tiny slots, holes and thin-walled designs.

2. High material utilization
In die-casting production, gates, flash and waste can usually be recycled and melted for reuse in production, which improves the utilization rate of materials. The die-casting process controls the precise metal injection, and the proportion of waste such as gates and risers is small, and the metal runner design can minimize the generation of excess material.

3. Durable
The materials commonly used in die-casting, such as aluminum alloys, zinc alloys, and magnesium alloys, have excellent strength-to-weight ratios and hardness properties. The rapid cooling function of the mold makes the metal crystal structure more fine and uniform, and enhances the mechanical properties of the material. Rapid cooling can also prevent microcracks in the material and improve durability.

Process steps

1. Mold design and production
Design the mold according to product requirements, including key parts such as gates, exhaust ports and cooling systems, use high-strength steel, and manufacture the mold through precision processes such as CNC machining and EDM.

2. Raw material preparation
Select suitable metal or alloy materials such as aluminum alloy, zinc alloy or magnesium alloy according to product requirements, and melt the metal raw materials in a special furnace.

3. Metal injection
Take the molten metal out of the insulation furnace and inject the molten metal into the mold at a very fast speed through the high-pressure device of the die-casting machine.

4. Demolding and removal
After cooling, the mold is opened and the die-casting is removed through the ejector.

5. Subsequent processing
The die-casting is deburred, the gate is cleaned, the surface is polished, and sprayed, electroplated or anodized.
